Baking pizzas and making bath bombs both hit the mark with 15 youngsters for this second workshop at Easter.
Janine Pemberton hosted this one at Sleights Scout Hut today. Tonight she said that workshops are eggs-hausting. The Shedders agree.
Janine summarised the day on the Kids Making Good Facebook page (sign up!!) and it is reproduced here.
A fab morning down at Sleights Scout Hut this morning making bath bombs (sparkling strawberry & nourishing coconut) as well as some tasty pizzas. Some pizzas made it home, but many were eaten at the Hut!
This workshop was made possible by Rachel Clarkson of Senses Whitby and Paul McQue from Flyingthorpe Barnards bakers.
If you know anyone that would like to get involved in these voluntary run workshops, please get in contact.
Can you run a sewing workshop, paints class, pottery workshop….or know someone that can?
We are open to ANY ideas – cricket competition, gardening…..anything that helps children to have fun, make new friends and learn some new skills.
